Voyager became stuck in a section of space that was merging with subspace.  A group of photonic beings boarded the holodeck which was running Tom Paris' program "Captain Proton" from 1930's science fiction.  The photonic aliens thought that the holographic characters were real and that the real people were the illusion.  When making contact with one of the aliens, Tom Paris discovered that they had no idea what a carbon based life form was.  The aliens, who were poorly treated by the program's villain Chaotica, waged war against him.  In the end, Voyager used the Doctor (who is photonic) to play the President of Earth.  In his new role, the Doctor allied with the aliens and Janeway and Paris destroyed the evil Chaotica and his death ray.
This episode was interesting and entertaining.  There have been better holodeck based episodes in the past, however this one stood out because the holodeck program was in black and white.

Rating for "Bride of Chaotica"

Andrew's Rating: 7.5
Another interesting holodeck based episode that turned out to be entertaining, but not as good as some past holodeck based episodes.

Anthony's Rating: 8.8
I really liked this episode.  I enjoyed the fact that this episode was totally based around Ensign Paris' holodeck program.  I've just been wanting to see an episode about that all season.  It's definitely my favorite episode of this season, so far.

Carl's Rating: 7.0
At first I thought I was just going to wretch all over the floor after watching this episode and then have to give it a 0.  However, after seeing it, I thought it wasn't THAT bad and decided on a 7.0.  I do hope that Paris will delete that stupid program though.  This episode was vaguely interesting because of Kate Mulgrew doing a good job with her acting skills and I thought the photonic aliens were a cool idea.
