| Doctor Julian Bashir was enlisted by Section
31 to spy on the Romulans while he went to Romulan space to share his information
on Dominion Biogenic weapons. Sloan, Bashir's Section 31 contact,
later asked him to diagnose the Romulan leader of the Talshiar(sp?).
Section 31 intended to use the leader's disease against him in order to
prevent him from acquiring a new post within the Romulan government.
In the end, Bashir found out that the entire undercover mission was a trick,
because Section 31 knew that Doctor Bashir would not willingly aid in the
assassination of a Romulan official. Bashir's unwillingness lead
the Romulan Empire into arresting the person that Section 31 did not want
to get the new post within the Romulan government.
I enjoyed this episode, I had been waiting a long time for a follow-up on the Section 31 episode. This episode also had the complex plans that Section 31 had been known for. Reviewed by: Andrew Luby
