| In this episode our old Klingon friend, Kor,
returns, and is finally put to an honorable death to join his old friends
in Sto-vo-kor. Kor, who suffers from memory loss and happens to be
a mortal enemy of General Martok, is placed on Martok's ship as third officer
(by Worf). While on Martok's ship, Kor is forced to assume command
where he relives a raid of a Federation outpost. The crew is not
aware of this until he requests to talk with Kang, who had been dead for
years. Kor finally dies in a glorious battle in which he saves all
the other Klingons in the attack fleet.
I found this episode to be one of the most enjoyable Deep Space Nine episodes this season. I was sad to see Kor die, but glad that he finally died honorably. There was a small, humorous subplot where Ezri Dax talks with Kor and then discusses her conversation with Kira. Quark overhears the end of the conversation and thinks that Dax is talking about Worf, and wants to get back together with Worf! Reviewed by: Andrew Luby
