Battle between the Federation and Dominion/Breen alliance.
     "All I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by. - John Masefield," reads the dedication plaque aboard the USS Defiant NX-74205.
     In this episode Worf and Ezri return home.  But shortly after their return, DS9 received news that Earth had been attacked by the Breen.  Also the Breen were pushing Federation forces out of the Chin'taka system.  The Defiant and an entire fleet of Federation, Klingon, and Romulan ships were destroyed in a battle with the Breen.
     I enjoyed this episode, we get to see just how evil Kai Winn is becoming, even after discovering that Gul Dukat had been manipulating her to set loose the Pah Wraiths, she still continued.  In closing I would just like to say this, I miss the Defiant :(

This episode gives little hope for the Federations victory over the Dominion.  The powerful Breen seem to be almost invulnerable with there energy draining weapon.

I loved this episode, it was possibly the best one I have seen.  It  finally shows the good side a really bad defeat from which they might not recover.  I hope that Sisko gets a new ship though.
